March 25, 2006 - Parry Sound Fabric Centre will
be hosting their annual cancer fund raiser and directing the funds
raised to Knit for the Cure. Thank you Janet. For more information

December - 2005
Saturday, December 3, 2005 - Christmas Extravaganza
at The Woollen Earth in Vanderhoof, BC. Designer, Jennifer
Appleby, will be hosting a Knit for the Cure Day at her shop, with
8 out of 10 spaces already booked. Sponsors from as far away as
Ontario have already committed their donations. If you have contributions
to Jennifer's silent aution, please contact her. The
Woollen Earth. The excitement is building.
October - 2005
Thursday - Sunday October 13 -16. The Creative
Sewing and Needlework Festival Booth 774., at the Metro Toronto
Convention Centre, halls D & E. Come and see us and the patterns
and kits available to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research
Saturday, October 22, Knit for the Cure Celebration
at Georgetown Yarns & Crafts, 170 Guelph St., Georgetown,
ON. Drop in and bid on the silent auction items. Although the classes
are full, there will be lots of excitement. Wear pink and show your
support.
September - 2005
Friday
September 23, 6:00pm - Knitty in the City
a spectacular fashion show with door prizes, auctions, dinner
& cash bar. Featured will be the Lily Chin Collection and the
GGH\Rebecca collection from Germany. A big thank you to River City
Yarns for hosting this event at the Chateau Nova Hotel 159 Airport
Rd. Edmonton, AB. Proceeds will be divided between The Canadian
Breast Cancer Foundation and the Alzheimer Society. Tickets $25.00

July & August - 2005
SHOW US A SIGN!!
The following stores will be participating in our "Show us
a sign" for Knit for the Cure. Here is your opportunity to
show your support for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Simply
purchase a 3" x 4" sign from any one of the following
stores for $1.00. Sign your name to it and have your sign posted,
with others who are helping to create a future with out breast cancer.
All proceeds will be donated to the Foundation.

Patricia's Yarn Cabin - 2426 Beacon Ave. Sidney, BC will
be hosting a "knit out" from 6:00 to 8:00pm to coincide
with an Artisan's sale and Farmer's market held every Thursday after
5:00pm. All "pass the hat" donations will be contributed
to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation as part of Knit for the
Cure.

June 12 - First Annual Uptown Yarns "Knit in"
Uptown Yarns - #206-307 5th St. Coutenay, BC will be hosting
their first annual "knit in". Join them, if you are in
the area. There will be a pass the hat for "Knit for the Cure",
while you knit teddy bears for the local hospital. (This event raised
$300.00 in one day. Thank you Uptown Yarns)
